Special Mechanism for Advanced Recovery of the General Sales Tax (IGV, Spanish acronym)

Benefits:

• Reimbursement of the General Sale Tax over the whole pre-production project stage (at least 2 years).
• Applies to all economic activity sectors.
• Minimum investment is US$5 million, except for agriculture, to which this requirement does not apply.
• Any project may be divided into stages, tranches or similar subdivisions.
