Odebrecht has been involved in the main works conducted in the country’s coastal, mountainous and jungle areas, including roads, water treatment and drain plants, sewage systems, hydro electric stations, irrigation works, tunnels, dams, etc.
  • The first international project started in Peru in 1979 with the construction of Charcani V Hydro electric Power Station in Arequipa.
  • In 1988, led the construction of the Chavimochic Irrigation Project Stages I and II, including:
    • Total agricultural surface irrigated: Approximately 50,000 Ha.
      • Improvement Areas: 33,000 Ha of Valle Viejo.
      • New Land: 17,000 Ha.
