Location

Located 900 km north of Lima, in the Lambayeque Region, the Olmos Irrigation Project will be a significant pole for the agricultural development of northern Peru, expanding the farmland areas through the irrigation of the Olmos Plains, now in need of water and hydraulic infrastructure.

Project lands are located at a distance of 107 km from the Pacific Ocean as measured from the center of the area to be irrigated in a westerly direction and only 55 KM in southwest direction, and about 670 km from the Equator line, approximately between 6°0’ and 6°13’ south latitude and 79°55’ and 80°08’ west longitude.
