Peru has been granted special tariff preferences for the export of its products to the main international markets, and maintains a proactive attitude in relation to integration mechanisms enabling access to new markets that will open up to investors.
Strategic Agreements in place:

Singapore: This trade agreement became effective since August 1, 2009, after technical negotiations were finished in August 2007.
China: The FTA between Peru and the People's Republic of China, signed on April 28, 2009, became effective on March 1, 2010 and is expected to turn out a very significant export driver for the nation.
South Korea: Negotiations started in March 2009 and became effective on August 2010.
